ITS CAMP TIME AGAIN !

We mentioned to you last friday about a Patrol Camp during the February half term.

Everyone sounded very excited so….

Here are the details;

Spaces will unfortunately be limited to 15 Scouts..

The camp will be at a cost of £6 each, plus whatever food your patrol buys.

This includes an awesome adventure to and from a caving and climbing experience in Cheddar on the Friday 16th February along with a few nights camping, cooking and games.

If you are keen then please Contact Pat (awesome Leader) asap to book your place & bring your money next Friday (9th February)    patriciakingslandscouts@hotmail.co.uk is her email. You will have to be quick though as spaces are already being filled.

Next Friday, The patrols will be sorted out and you will decide on your menu, shopping list and list the equipment you will need from Scout Stores.   You will be doing all your own cooking and putting all that you have learnt into practice!

The “rough” plan is this….

Arrive Thursday 15th Feb, after lunch (around 1pm)   pitch tents, go shopping for your patrols food.

Friday 16th Feb,  travel by mini bus to Cheddar Gorge – caving & climbing.  (times to be confirmed)

Saturday 17th Feb,  strike camp and collected after lunch (1pm)

If the weather is foul, we will be using our Scout Hall in Moordown instead of camping.
