It’s water time !
The time of the year we have all been waiting for!
Getting young people on the water relies on more volunteers! If you fancy helping us out, please do let us know, ideally we would have a leader each week to help with some cooking (we will support the supplies).
You will need !
Water wear, it’s very cold so a wetsuit is ideal.
Without this we have to have more time on land due to scouts getting cold and can interrupt sessions.
Equally, if your scout cannot go on the water one week, please do let us know way in advance so we can accommodate for their needs.
Towels, fresh socks, hats, water bottle, water shoes, a bin liner and a snack is all on the kit list.
There is no need for mobile phones and any items that are risky, pocket knives, or anything that resembles a weapon.
This week we are dropping off at 7 and picking up at 9. When we have more light this will be extended to 9:30.
