Dear Parents and carers

The team would like to thank you for your ongoing support with scouts.
Without your help we would not be the group we are today.

For a few years the scout leaders have been low in numbers and although we are developing and have a strategic plan to grow, we are finding that Friday nights can be a barrier to gaining new leaders. The current team are also finding it difficult to manage with busy work and family lives having an effect on the activities that we can offer.

The leaders would like your support in adapting our scouting experience and swapping our adventure night to a Tuesday evening. We are fully aware that this may come as a shock to you but it is felt that this is in the best interest of the scouts experience.

Our strategy will be to have a focus on recruitment in leadership and provide new experiences for our scouts.

As we return after the summer we will continue on a Tuesday evening for one term (8 weeks) and will assess the views of the leaders, scouts and family.
