A message from Carlos

Dear Parents and Scouts,

I hope this letter finds you well. After much reflection, I have decided to step down from my role as a leader in our scouting organisation, effective at the end of this year, just after our last session. This decision has not been easy, as my 15 years in this role have been incredibly fulfilling and memorable.

Over the years, various reasons including my increasing responsibility as a leader at my church, have accumulated, and all the other commitments have made it clear that it is time for me to move on. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities and experiences I have had, and I will always cherish the joyful moments and the friendships I have made. I hope that my involment with the group has had some positive impact in the lives of all the wonderful scouts that have been part of the troop through the years.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the other troop leaders, for their support, collaboration, and dedication. It has been an honour (I am not exaggerating here) to work alongside such passionate and committed individuals.

Thank you once again for everything. I look forward to staying in touch and wish the 30th Bournemouth scout group a continued success in all its future endeavours. My last adventure with you will be the 10th of December 2024.
