As you have read in the previous blog, we have changed some of the patrols around. We are fully aware that change can be challenging for people and that movement in patrols can be unsettling.

We want you to know that we have done this in the best interests of the scouts and have taken into consideration age, ability, friendships and areas of conflict to help promote learning, concentration and support the leaders with the management of risk and to meet the needs of all the young people. We aim to promote effective learning and also to discourage behaviour that does not support the scouting ethos, unfortunately this had been a frequent occurrence before the summer and we need to have some change.

If you have any questions please come and speak to a leader. We want to ensure that all are having fun, if you feel that we can do something to support your young person then please be in touch.
