Hello scouts

This week we will need the standard wet gear along with dry clothing, snack and a drink. Please make sure your prep bag has all you need (just in case).

Drop off 7 and pick up at 9:30.

Thank you also for supporting us with pick ups at the gate, really handy for counting numbers.

THE FUNZIE RUN

Leaders luke and Hayley work in a hospital for you people with mental health Conditions and would like to raise some funds to support the hospitals activity room.

Covid hit hard and the room is in need of an overhaul, new paint to brighten it up, new storage options and new activities for the young people.

Why not start collecting sponsorship now in prep for the event!!! Which will be taking place on the 24th of June.

A small jog/run to our boat house starting near tescos by Bournemouth hospital – (official route to follow) covering around 4k

All scouts to be in fancy dress and ideally accompanied by a parent or carer, to support supervision. (Who may also be in fancy dress too) 😉

Runners will end at the boat house, have a quick change into a life vest and a swim to the finish line.

It’s all for fun and we will have some food to fill us up after.
