EQUIPMENT
Each week we use the blog to support the scouts with information on what to bring to each session. The information is essential to the night and without them we have been forced to change the program last minute causing less quality of activities and less learning.
We really want the scouts to get the most out of each evening. Can all parents and carers please support their young person with reading the blog and preparing the necessary items for the next session.

KIT BAG
A few scouts communicated the benefits of having a “Scout Bag” ready and prepped at home, containing all the necessary items for an evening.
We feel that this is a very good idea and will ensure that scouts are supported to take ownership of their own gear.
We would like to push this idea forward and see how it goes.
Ideally the bag would contain the following.
A named backpack
- Waterproofs
- Torch
- Tuck money
- Neckerchief
- Jumper
- Cup
- Small bottle of water
- Knife fork spoon
- Gloves and hat, spare socks
- Snack
The scouts would also like to have surprise kit inspections to earn points for their patrol.
Please let the team know your thoughts.
